Mother's Day Dinner
The mother's day dinner went pretty well. I forgot to take pictures. We started off with pear salad, which I need to post someday because it's the best salad ever. Then we had tenderloin en croute, creamed spinach, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Mmmmm. Then I made a carmel cake from scratch which didn't turn out so well. The cake was dry and the frosting was more like sauce. Oh well. All in all, it was yummy and a nice night. It's fun to break out the china every once in a while. A big thanks to J.Paul for all his help, to Nancy for her yummy recipe, and to my mom and mother-in-law for being so great. I'm so lucky!
