I recently read "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Ten Boom. I have to say, if there are any of you out there who have never read this book, you need to read it! It really is life-changing, in that it makes you appreciate what you have, and realize all the many ways the Lord helps us in our lives. I'd like to share a few of my insights but I won't for the sake of those of you who haven't read it yet. But whenever you do and you'd like to chat, let me know. I'm part of a church book group and am excited to go discuss this book. I'm also now reading "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor E. Frankl. These are both books about the holocaust, if you didn't know. I'm not even half-way through "Man's Search..." yet. It's even more depressing, so it's harder to get through. For me, at least. But seriously, read "The Hiding Place". I can't believe I've gotten through almost 30 years of life without reading it.
