J.Paul won a gift certificate in a golf tournament a few weeks ago (the best-ever result of J.Paul's golfing) and it was perfect timing to use it for my birthday celebration. The gift certificate was to Texas de Brazil*. oh. my. gosh. It was delicious. And a lot of food. When I actually felt the urge to throw up I finally put down my fork, and then I had to think meat-less thoughts til J.Paul was done. If you ever have an extra hundred dollars floating around, I reccomend you use it there. And come hungry, very hungry.
*In case you didn't know, this is an all-you-can-eat place. You get all you'd like from the salad bar (which has a lot more than salad) and then you are brought all different types of meat. They cut a little slice off and before you know it, you have a full plate of meat. My faves were the filet, garlic sirloin, and pork tenderloin. Mmmm.

Oh, I love that place. It is Jeremy's absolute favorite in Memphis. The term, "salad bar" just doesn't do it justice, does it? We like the filets and the house sirloin the best. If you get on their email list they will send you coupons for buy one get one free for birthdays and anniversaries and stuff.
