I picked out my Christmas present last week, let J.Paul know, and personally directed him to the website where I found the best deal. Then I informed him it was only on special for another week (it was true). Then he suprised me by pulling out his credit card and purchasing said present. Then my present arrived yesterday and we agreed I should commence using - my new camera! Nothing like getting a Christmas present a whole month early! Well, I've gotta capture the upcoming holliday moments, right?
Amzie actually took this one! Good job, girl! Thanks, J.Paul for my Christmas present! (There will still be something for me under the tree, right? Just kidding. Did I mention I also just bought myself a shiny new pair of running shoes...)

I got the Nikon D40. I wanted an SLR and the Canon pretty much dominates but I read tons of reviews and this camera is just as great for a novice like me, they say. It's $200 cheaper because it only has 6 megapixels but that doesn't really matter unless I want to blow up to poster size. I'm definitely pleased so far.

Be sure and bring it to Linden, and I can show you some tricks and tips. Bring J. Paul's laptop too since he has Photoshop. There are some easy things to do that really spice up images.
