Mexican vacation
J.Paul and I are planning on going on our first no-kids vacation this spring break. J.Paul's idea of a vacation includes a lot of sight-seeing and mine involves a lot of relaxing on the beach. So we came up with a compromise. Maybe a Mexican vacation in the Yucatan where all the ruins are so we can do beach and sight-seeing. I am wondering if any of you have done this sort of vacation and have any tips on hotels, things to do, etc. Or if you know of another great destination where we could sight-see and relax on the beach. I guess I should mention that J.Paul likes historical-type sight-seeing. I'd love any suggestions. Thanks!

Oooo, this sounds so great. I'm glad for you two! I'll be calling you up and giving you a whole ear full of my opinions. Don't you love me?
I think your on to something.. an all inclusive vacation in Mexico will have what you both want - laying around, shopping, hang-gliding, snorkeling, or diving, and historical sites. And everyone needs to experience a bus ride in Mexico for 8 peso!
